Welcome to S3RacingZone. Home of Stars & Stripes Sim Racing, a team of dedicated online simulated auto racing enthusiasts,
utilizing the simulation software Live for Speed.
Thousands of licensed Live for Speed users worldwide, make up
the global community of individuals and organized teams
which host online race servers, drop-in and sheduled races and some of the best organized online league racing
to be found. Live for Speed has physics and graphics that
rival all racing "games" and most other racing simulators, which all combined make it one of the best choices
for online simulated auto racing.
Stars & Stripes Sim Racing was formed in late January 2006, we host 4 Live for Speed dedicated servers,
are a server provider for League of the Americas, compete in a number of
organized events weekly, from tier type drop in racing to multi-driver endurance racing. Simply put, Stars & Stripes Sim Racing
operates much like a race team would in real world terms. We are not only a team of drivers, we are also crew
members, engineers, and spotters, officers, administrators, programmers and skinners. We practice together,
develop setups, and plan and execute race strategies. We enjoy this with as much dedication and seriousness as
we can allow.
We proudly represent the United States in the world of Live for Speed.

Short answer, yes.
Auto clutch and blip are still available as aids.
I am not much on the other cars, since I do mostly skippy driving, but I think the different gear boxes require different shifting techniques. I could be wrong though. In the skippy I can just lift the throttle to gear up. Down shifting is a bit harder, since you have to slow the the proper speed. I still haven't figured out blipping yet.

All you guys with your fancy 3 pedal setups have only 75% of my pedal power.
My gas pedal has been spikey for a while now, and after it spikes it usually doesn't go up to 100%. I've tried all kinds of stuff, and most of the time it works. But most of the time sucks when one time it fails is on lap 30 of an 80 lap race at Daytona. Cruising around at 85% throttle is not fun on a plate track.
I kept my old MS Sidewinder wheel and pedals after I bought my DFP and I'm glad I did. There was nothing wrong with the wheel or pedals, it just had no FFB and a really wierd center spring system. Plus the pedals only work as a combined axis. So what to do? See attached.

If my brake doesn't go to 100% that's not too awful, plus I could always use the other brake.

Just wanted to let you all know about the upcoming endurance series we're working on. We should have everything ready to roll in a couple of weeks. Please join the Facebook group to keep up to date for now.
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=1 ... 488&ref=tsWe'll be running endurance races at 8 tracks over the course of the season. You'll need a 2 man team to enter. This is taking place using rFactor which allows online driver switching, so you don't need to be local to be on a team.
I hope you guys will be able to join us. We've been testing these cars and they are loads of fun wheel-to-wheel!
